 Why don’t you join us in celebrating Easter in the fantastic city of Seville?

 Semana Santa is one of the most iconic celebrations in Spain, featuring marching processions of approximately 70 brotherhoods of the church, followed by elaborate floats on which sit 17th century images and wooden sculptures of the Virgin Mary or Christ (please look at video clips on YouTube).

The climax of the week is the night of Holy Thursday, when the processions set out to arrive at the Cathedral on the dawn of Good Friday. It is a spectacular experience that you will never forget.

We start our own journey leaving Los Arqueros around 9.30am on the morning of the 9th April for arrival at the fantastically located 4 star boutique Hotel, Las Casas de la Juderia (please look at the website). Once we have checked into the Hotel, we will have a short guided tour of the city center seeing all the famous landmarks, followed by a late lunch.

After the lunch and a few drinks, we will indulge ourselves in the atmosphere of the festival as the night progresses and, no doubt, frequent a few tapas bars and enjoy a few drinks before finishing back at our hotel.

On Friday morning, we will have breakfast and then head back to Los Arqueros.

We have limited space at the hotel, so it is important to show your interest as soon as possible, and based on the numbers, we will decide if we organize transport or travel up in a few cars.

At the moment, the price of the hotel is 281€ for a double room, and, once we know the numbers, then we will start to put together the full programme as described above, and indicate the other costs for the tour and the lunch.
