CAPTAINS WEEKEND

 On the 5th to 7th June 2020 we have put together a wonderful weekend away at the luxurious 5 Star Iberostar Andalucía Playa Resort at Sancti Petri. The hotel is situated on one of Spain’s most celebrated beaches, known as Barrosa Beach, also famous for witnessing the defeat of Napoleon at the hands of the Anglo Spanish Army in 1811.

We start off by leaving by Coach from Los Arqueros Clubhouse at 8.45am on Friday morning for arrival at the hotel around 11.15am.

After check in we have tee times booked, at the renowned Severiano Ballesteros designed 36 holes golf courses, starting from 1.00pm.

For those who do not want to play golf, there are many excellent facilities available at the hotel, including having a relaxing lunch at the Cataria Gourmet Restaurant, the La Bodega Restaurant or at the restaurant on the beach. The rest of the afternoon can be followed with a Spa or a lazy time around the fabulous pool. Around 8pm that evening, we will all meet and have a buffet dinner in one of the restaurants.

On the Saturday morning breakfast is provided, and the rest of the day is free. We will be organising a trip to the city of Cadiz, which is approximately 30 minutes away, or alternatively you can enjoy all the facilities at the hotel, beach or even more golf. In the evening, starting around 7pm we will meet up for drinks, followed by dinner.

Then to our last day, Sunday, which starts with breakfast, followed by golf tee times starting at 10.30am. For nongolfers, again we are sure you will have plenty to entertain yourself with until the golf finishes, which we expect to be around 4.30pm.

We will end our stay with the prize giving and some drinks and food at the beach bar (not included in the price) and then leave around 7.30pm by coach to get us back to Los Arqueros around 10pm.

At the moment we have limited reservations booked.

The prices are as follows:

Transport from Clubhouse to Hotel and back, 2 nights’ accommodation with breakfast, buffet dinner (not including drinks) and 2 rounds of Golf.

Not included is the cost of the trip to Cadiz, any buggies required, and the drink and food at the prize giving before we leave.

 Golfers: 348€ per person

Non-Golfers: 248€ per person (2 share per room)

80€ per stay.

Buggies: 39€ per round (2 persons sharing)

Trolleys: 9€ per trolley per round

So, as you can see, we have a full weekend ahead with plenty of activities and hopefully a lot of fun.
