Last Friday 6th November, took place at Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club, in Benahavis, our traditional and lively members meeting, with tests and activities, without missing our tasty barbecue.
Many of our members came to share with us a fantastic golf day and good company on the Costa del Sol.
In the “Chiringuito” of our driving range, sausages, skewers and drinks for free were distributed among all attendees.
This is one of the many advantages of being member of our Club; be part of an intense social life and activities organized for the members.
In addition to the barbecue, it was held a Putt competition in the Putting Green. A 9-hole layout was made with a rope, and was played with the same rules of the Match Play format. To hit the ball outside the ropes, it was “Out”, so the player should go back to where he last played with +1 penalty stroke.
This time the winner was the member Mr Dean Cox, who win a 3-liter bottle of wine “Magnum Ramón Bilbao”.
