Environmental Policy
Los Arqueros Golf Course, which main activity is to provide services to golfers through the use of an 18-hole course, a clubhouse and golf-pro shop, hereby acquires the commitment as part of its normal activities to protect the environment and the health of its employees. The environmental policy of Los Arqueros Golf Course is established in a way to be appropriate to the purpose and context of the organization, therefore the environmental policy will be based on the principle of prevention and minimisation at source of possible adverse environmental impacts, following the guidelines set out belowis established:

Implementation and continual updating of an Environmental Management System applicable to all areas of the golf course management, enebling LOS ARQUEROS Golf Course to obtain a UNE/EN/ISO 14001 certificate, with all that this entails, obtaining the necessary colective input, safety measures and desired results.

Adoption of all necessary measures to comply with environmental regulations and other requirements applicable to its activities at European, State, regional and local levels.

Adoption of the necessary measures to prevent pollution, assessing in advance the repercussions of its activities on the environment, and taking preventive measures to minimise environmental impacts with the aim to protect, among others, the biodiversity and ecosystems.

Evaluation and familiarization of all environmental impacts, positive and negative, as well as environmental risks arising from its activities and from the services rendered, in order to reduce and prevent as far as possible adverse impacts.

Making sustained use of natural resources, promoting the efficient use of energy in all the activities related to the golf course, mitigating and adapting to climate change, reducing the use of fertilizers, phytosanitary products and of water used for maintenance and irrigation, as far as possible, and encouraging reuse and recycling practices.

Managing and treating waste in an environmentally friendly manner and minimise waste generation.

Training and motivating its personnel to assume a high level of responsibility and involvement so that, all members of staff may contribute decisively to achieving the environmental objectives defined for the golf course, regularly identifying environmental training needs and implementing training programmes to improve awareness and professional competence./li>

Communicate and transmit this policy to all parties affected (employees, users, suppliers, subcontractors and the general public), increasing employee awareness of environmental issues.

Regularly define and review objectives and goals established in order to meet the requirements of this policy, as part of our ongoing improvement policy.

Obtain the resources required to continuously improve the environmental management system, defining yearly environmental management plans.
