Last Sunday 15th May 2016, Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club held its Club Championship in a pleasant atmosphere of golf, fun and sunny weather after rainy days.
The competition, which was held over two days, Saturday and Sunday respectively, was played under Medal Play format.
The winners of the different categories were:
· Men Scratch: José Torres
· Ladies Scratch: Inna Bladen
· Men Handicap: Leon Huisman
· Ladies Handicap: Lotta Dahlström
In addition to the trophies and fantastic gifts, there were many bottles of wine, golf accesories, green fees for other courses such as Mijas Golf, La Cala, Rio Real, Atalaya Golf or Los Flamingos, plus invitations to restaurants.
The cocktail offered during the prize giving was one of the best with barbecue, “arroz campestre”, salads, snacks and many beer and wine. All members were invited to the cocktail, whether participating in the competition or not.
