Yesterday, Wednesday 18th November, our Manager Ulf Svendsen, attended to the Benahavis City Hall, which was awarded with the “Merit Award in Golf”.
The Management of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation at its meeting held on 26th September unanimously agreed to grant to the Benahavís Town Hall the “Merit Award in Golf” in recognition of the history of collaboration and promotion of this sport.
Members of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation attended the event.
Angel de la Riva Gomez, President of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation, presented the award to the Mayor of Benahavis Town Hall.
Also was present in the event, Manuel Piñero, newly chosen the Captain to the Spanish Olympic Golf Team in the Olympic Games in 2016, in Brazil.
In addition to our Club, other golf courses of the area were present as La Quinta Golf & Spa Resort and Atalaya Golf & Country Club.
