Recently, Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club, in Benahavís, decided to create new tee boxes with the non-profit organisation Aspromanis. Aspromanis is an organisation that helps intellectually disabled people. It’s based in Malaga with a number of help centres.
Thanks to the collaboration of Aspromanis, Los Arqueros Golf has changed its tee boxes to contain more tips and advice about how to play the hole. For example hole 13 – the longest hole on the back 9. As a par 5 of 458m, this hole is challenging for all golfers and thus it is important to read the tips.
The advice next to the hole reads: To fairway only 169 mts (554 ft) with a drop of 22 mts (72 ft), easy shot. Make the most of your driver followed by a second shot towards the left bunkers.
It’s important to read this information unless you want to lose your golf balls! There are hazards either side of the fairway. Take care and good luck!
