The ladies and men tee boxes will have a new image at Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club, thanks to the collaboration of Aspromanis.
Aspromanis is a non-profit association, founded in 1964, which helps people with intellectual disability, through the different centres, located in Malaga and the province.
Los Arqueros Golf, wanted to order to Aspromanis Villanueva del Rosario, one of the centres of the association, a handmade ceramic works. They consist on the new ladies and men tee boxes, which provide to golfers some tips to improve their game.
Aspromanis Villanueva del Rosario has an occupational centre that supports people with special needs and where gardening tasks are done. Also they have a plant nursery and a ceramics workshop where people make handmade works to sell in the shop. They also sell carpets, made in other centres of the Aspromanis Association.
Last 23rd November, we received the visit from seven users of Villanueva del Rosario occupational centre, next to Ana Maria Diaz, manager of the centre, and Raul Aguilera, instructor, to deliver the 36 ceramic plates handmade in their pottery workshop.
The new tee boxes will be placed shortly in our tees.
