A new match of La Liga Seniors, between Los Arqueros & La Cala, took place last Monday, 9th April 2018.
In the latest La Liga match against La Cala the weather was much better than in recent times but a strong breeze and very fast greens made the course a difficult challenge.
Mike and Steve returned to winning ways in the first game with a convincing 6&5 win despite giving 31 shots, but the second game was much tighter.
Although they were never behind in the contest Dean and Ian just couldn’t get away and it took a solid par on the 18th to consolidate the victory. Unfortunately Markus and Alan had an uncharacteristically bad day in the third game and were comprehensively beaten by 5&4. Hopefully they will be able to avenge their defeat next Monday in the return match and the other two pairs repeat their success. Here’s hoping!
