THE ENVIRONMENTAL
POLICY OF THE LOS ARQUEROS GOLF COURSE
The LOS ARQUEROS Golf Course is committed
to the protection of the environment and the health of its
employees in all its activities. The future environmental
policy of the LOS ARQUEROS Golf Course will be based on the
principles of preventing and minimising any possible detrimental
environmental impact on the effects at the source, according
to the following guidelines:

The implementation and maintenance of an Environmental
Management System to be applied to all areas of golf-course
management, which will enable us to obtain a certificate
of compliance with Standard UNE/EN/ISO 14001, with all
the implications thereof, achieved through collective
effort, assertive actions and results. |

The adoption of all measures necessary to comply with environmental
standards and any other requirements pertaining to its activities
at the European, national, regional and local levels.
The
adoption of any measures necessary for the prevention of pollution,
through a prior evaluation of the effects of its activities
on the environment, and taking preventive steps to minimise
any possible adverse effects.
The
assessment and determination of any possible environmental
impact, both positive and negative, arising from its activities
and the services it provides, in order to reduce and prevent
as far as possible any negative effects.
The
sustainable use of natural resources, by encouraging the efficient
use of energy in all the golf course activities, reducing
as far as possible the use of fertilisers, manure, plant protection
products and water used in the upkeep and watering of the
facilities, and encouraging reutilisation and recycling as

The definition and periodical review of the objectives and
goals established in order to comply with this policy, as
part of the process of continuous improvement of our activities.
The
provision of the necessary resources for the ongoing improvement
of the environmental management system, by establishing annual
environmental management plans.
