Candidatos Comite Arqueros

Dear Members,
By this letter we call for Candidates for the new “Golf Committee 2014 “.

This Committee shall cover the activities of Competition, Social , Greenkeeping , Fauna and Flora , and Management . This Committee shall be open to those Members who volunteer to participate actively in the management of the Club. For this reason we ask here for 10 volunteers to be candidates to be part of this new “Committee”. If more than 10 candidates shows up, it will be resolved through elections held by the Club.

Once established the 10 candidates, they will decide among themselves which activities to take part in. In case of disagreements, the Committee itself will resolve it through votes.

The candidate’s dedication to the Committee shall be one year, which will have a very flexible character.

Candidates wishing to apply should send email to lidia.martin@es.taylorwimpey.com  , or deliver a letter to our Golf Secretary Office. This period will remain open from today until October 31st.

For more information, we present below the contents of the Committee’s functions:

A) COMPETITICION : This activity will consist of the following members :
1) President
2 ) Captain (Mens Delegate )
3 ) Ladies Captain (Ladies Delegate )
4) Mens Seniors Delegate
5 )Ladies Seniors Delegate
6) Ladies Vocal
7) Mens Vocal

Responsibilities and duties of Members :
With the aim to make its participation easier, its members will not have to use the Competition computer system (PC). In year 2014, the system will be fully managed by the Staff of The Los Arqueros Golf and President of Competition activity.

I. The President :
– Communications with the “Andalusian Golf Federation” (FAG) and “Spanish Golf Federation” (FEG)
– Administration of golf licenses and handicaps
– Maintenance of the database IBM  of the Spanish Golf Federation
– Management of the competition computer system “Compwin”
– Attend Committee Meetings
– Communication and coordination with the Greenkeeper and Director of Golf 
(Due to its technical content, this will be the only position elected by the Club Management)

II. The Captain (Mens Delegate ) :
– Prepare the annual Competition Calendar with the Ladies’ Captain .
– Organize weekly social and interclub competitions, Aesgolf , and the Opens
– Expose official entry forms for competitions
– Coordinate with the Staff of Los Arqueros the preparation of score cards and results
– Write the agenda and preside over the meetings of the Competition activities
– Request the Manager approval of the competitions and tee times

III. Ladies Captain (Ladies Delegate):
– Prepare the Annual Competition Calendar along with Captain
– Prepare the Ladies Competition Calendar
– Organize the Social Weekly Ladies Competition , Interclub , and organize with the Mens Delegate (Captain ) the monthly mixed competitions
– Expose official entry form for competitions
– Coordinate with the Staff of Los Arqueros Golf the preparing of score card and results
– Prepare the annual Calendar with the Mens Delegate.
– Request the Manager approval of competitions and tee times

 

IV . Mens Seniors Delegate :
– Prepare the Calendar of the Mens League (La Liga)
– Organize the Mens Liga competitions
– Expose official entry forms for the League (La Liga) competitions
– Coordinate with the Staff of Los Arqueros the preparing of score cards and results
– Request the Manager approval of competitions and tee times

V. Ladies Seniors Delegate:
– Prepare the Calendar for the Ladies League
– Organize the mentioned competitions
– Expose official registration form for these competitions
– Coordinate with the Staff of Los Arqueros the preparing score cards and results
– Request the Manager approval of competitions and tee times

VI. Mens Vocal & VII. Ladies Vocal:
– To assist the Committee in this activity as helpers and make substitutions to its Members when they have holidays and / or vacancies.

B ) SOCIAL : Its activity shall consist of the following:
– Its activity will be conducted by one member
– Detect the will and interests of the Members for submission to Golf Manager through regular meetings
– Present proposals for social Members events to the Golf Manager
– Organize events approved.

C) GREENKEEPING : Its activity is composed of the following:
– Its activity will be conducted by one member
– Detect opinions and requests from the Members to present at regular meetings with the Greenkeeper and Golf Manager
– Have access to the current Golf Course maintenance programming
– Be spokesman for Members in this activity

D) FLORA AND FAUNA : Its activity will consist of the following:
– Its activity will be conducted by one member
– Together with the Technical Environment, develop new targets and actions for the care and maintenance of this area
– Participate in discussions on Environment through regular meetings with the Technical Environment
– Be spokesman for Members in this activity

E) MANAGEMENT: Its activity will consist of the following:
– Its activity will be conducted by one member
– To have access to certain internal information
– Detect questions and proposals from the Member for submission to the Golf Manager through regular meetings
– Be spokesman for Members in this matter
