Many of the Los Arqueros Staff got together to make a special Christmas Card. This is the final result. We had a lot of fun during the preparation and therefore we attach some photos.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY 2012

On Wednesday 14th of December Los Arqueros received the visit of the green keeper of the area. José Antonio García Doña, our Green Keeper, prepared for that day a golf competition, lunch and prize giving. After the game of golf and once the green keepers came together in our members lounge they had the opportunity to talk through the days’ experience and share their work knowledge. One thing they all agreed upon was that the most important part of the day had been the good company and atmosphere.

The competition “Ladies Weekly Social” was dedicated this week to the “Christmas Annual” which the Lady Members of Los Arqueros have been celebrating for the last few years. This competition, held on the 1st December 2011, had a very special compromise this year. The ladies of Los Arqueros brought a gift for the 44 children, aged between 4 and 17 years, who live at the Orphanage “La Ciudad de los niños” in Málaga.

Basic Criteria:
As one would expect, basic criteria change very little, but there are noticeable shifts in emphasis with changing societal values. In 1996, the criteria of good golf architecture, compared with the ones in 2005, listed below:

On Thursday 4th of August in Los Arqueros Golf was held the last campaign days of Photoprotection in golf courses for the prevention of skin cancer 2011, organized from the Health Agency Costa del Sol.
