Dear Members,
At the last meeting of the Los Arqueros Golf Club Committee the election procedure for the 2015 committee was finalised. This email is to notify you of that procedure.
Participation in the elections, both as candidate and voter is open to all shareholders with an activated share.
Should you wish to stand as a candidate in any of the elections then please make your candidature known to Lidia in the Los Arqueros Office within the appropriate time scale. The majority of the committee 2014 are willing to stand again but new members with new ideas are always welcome.
There will be three elections.
1) “Mens Captain”
The committee has nominated Ian Conquest for this post and he has accepted that nomination, anybody else wishing to stand has 7 days from today to make their candidature known to Lidia in the Los Arqueros Office.
Voting will commence, 27th October and close 8th November
Results will be announced 10th November
2) “Ladies Captain”
The committee has nominated Nicola Masters for this post and she has accepted that nomination, anybody else wishing to stand has 7 days from today to make their candidature known to Lidia in the Los Arqueros Office.
Voting will commence, 27th October and close 8th November
Results will be announced 10th November
3) Committee members.
The following members of the committee have indicated that they will stand again
Juan Gomes (Mens Senior Delegate)
Karl Maresz (Social)
Ralf Bombach (Environmental)
Carl Holsters (Management)
Helga Gfader (Social)
Lou Ratcliffe (has also stated she will stand and if elected is willing to take the position of Ladies Seniors Captain)
Anybody else wishing to stand has 14 days from today to make their candidature known to Lidia in the Los Arqueros Office.
Voting will commence, 10th November and close 28th November
Results will be announced 1st December
The new Captains and committee will take office on 1st January 2015 with the first meeting expected to be Wednesday 7th January 1.00 pm
