Sunday 8th October was the last day of Captains week. And it was The Lady Captain’ (Inna Bladens) Day. It was a double celebration as it was also her birthday.
Inna invited all the men to join in the fun format of play, but there was one condition. They had to wear a skirt!! 16 brave men rocked up unafraid to show their feminine side. The laughter could be heard all around Benahavís.
We played Texas scramble and the results were: the best of men teams was Ron, Brian Henry, Chris Mitas Jn and Paddy Mullins.

Home for a quick change afterwards to end the week with a fantastic buffet, organised by Restaurante Los Arqueros, prizegiving with generous sponsorship from several Club members and from the Lady Captain herself, and speeches, which ended with a special rendition of YMCA and a standing ovation from everyone for the magnificent work that Inna has done this year. The dancing and singing continued until the small hours of the morning.
The perfect way to end a fun filled week for the members, their families and friends.
