Los Arqueros Golf is a mixed course situated less than an hour from the international airports of Málaga and Gibraltar, and only 10 minutes from Marbella

It was the first golf course to be designed by Severiano Ballesteros. As the designer himself says, Los Arqueros is a good course for players of all kinds - a reasonable challenge for the average golfer and a tough test for professionals.

It is set among the mountains of the Sierra de Ronda, and has an original layout in beautiful surroundings. Its prime location on the Costa del Sol makes this an ideal destination for a stress-free golfing holiday.

    The other side of Los Arqueros Golf is the activity of its Restaurant, and especially at night time. Particularly in summer. Probably one of the few Golf Club Houses in the Marbella area, for not to say the only one, that closes every day after midnight due to their live music shows combined with good food and party atmosphere.

        Over the past last summers, we found that in Los Arqueros Golf  it had been appearing, as in many golf courses throughout the Mediterranean region a terrible infestation caused by a monocot weed, which until recently time was not taken into Spain as a pest. The "Eleusine Indica" (also called Goosegrass). A powerful root system, forming a clump firmly anchored to the ground. It has the particularity to glean from a level very close to the ground, producing a large quantity of seed (about 10,000 per plant).

          On last Friday June the 15th, Los Arqueros Golf fertilized its 18 fairways with 9800 Kg of slow release fertilizers, ENTEC 20-10-10. Such fertilizers are innovative and are an asset in providing quality turf, reducing leaching losses, more respectful of the environment, etc ... Its use is limited to crops with more advanced technologies, as in this case Los Arqueros Golf .
