The family Quirós wins the first positions at Los Arqueros Golf in the first competition of the Andalucía Golf Circuit on Jan. 30th and 31st. The competition had a great number of players. The golf course was in very good conditions, considering the severe and constant rain of the previous weeks. This proves the great job by the maintenance workers who gave a warm welcome to all the players.

GOLF COURSE IMPROVEMENTS 2010

With regards to our last circular letter dated14th December communicating the new membership fees 2010 and golf course investment plan; agreement to be ratified at a future Extraordinary Shareholder Meeting to be held in 2010 according the Public Company Law approved by the RDL/1989 of 22 December; the contents of this investment plan is as follows:
 

For the tenth consecutive year, Los Arqueros has hosted the charity competition of FUNDASPANDEM. This competition is a yearly classic and it has the purpose of obtaining funds to help and support disabled people and tries to integrate them into the working industry.

Inspired in “Casino Royale”, one of the latest James Bond films, members of Los Arqueros and their friends gathered to celebrate Christmas. As in any of the 007 films,  Martinis, stired but not shaken, were served  to warm up and started in what tuned to be a successful night. The dinner was served by Los Arqueros Restaurant and it consisted of a buffet with a great variety of delicious salads, meat, fish and deserts beautifully displayed.

On Thursday 19 November, Los Arqueros held their 3rd Ladies' Invitation. There were 48 ladies playing a 2 ball scramble. After golf the Club Restaurant provided a superb lunch in the members' lounge, followed by prize giving. The party continued well into the evening and a great time was had by all.

In January the new Competition, Social and Disciplinary Committee comes into force for the period 2010. For this reason we request to those members interested in taking part in any of these Committees, to please send a letter or e-mail to the Secretary of the Club, exposing its candidature.

This period of request will be held open until next November 19th. The above mentioned candidature will be exposed in the web page and bulletin board of the Club for voting between 20th and 29th of November.
