Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club
Los Arqueros Golf is a mix course situated less than an hour from the international airports of Málaga and Gibraltar, and only 10 minutes from Marbella. It was the first golf course to be designed by Severiano Ballesteros. As the designer himself says, Los Arqueros is a good course for players of all kinds - a reasonable challenge for the average golfer and a tough test for professionals.
It is set among the mountains of the Sierra de Ronda, and has an original layout in beautiful surroundings.
Its prime location on the Costa del Sol makes this an ideal destination for a stress-free golfing holiday.

Ladies' Invitation Day
On Thursday 19 November, Los Arqueros held their 3rd Ladies' Invitation. There were 48 ladies playing a 2 ball scramble. After golf the Club Restaurant provided a superb lunch in the members' lounge, followed by prize giving. The party continued well into the evening and a great time was had by all.

Election of new Committees 2010
In January the new Competition, Social and Disciplinary Committee comes into force for the period 2010. For this reason we request to those members interested in taking part in any of these Committees, to please send a letter or e-mail to the Secretary of the Club, exposing its candidature.
This period of request will be held open until next November 19th. The above mentioned candidature will be exposed in the web page and bulletin board of the Club for voting between 20th and 29th of November.

Quiz Night
Members of Los Arqueros took part in a Quiz Night to check their knowledge skills in four great themes:
History, geography, sports and science.
The questions had a great level of difficulty and even though the group BBB's tried to win for the third time, finally the first position was taken by "Strictly", composed by Mr. & Mrs. Littleford, Henson and Phillips, "the wisest" in the club.
Students from the University of Córdoba visit Los Arqueros
Every year Los Arqueros welcomes the visit of Agronomy students from the University of Córboba who are studying Environmental Management System.

Golfspain chose Los Arqueros Golf to introduce to 22 golf courses from Andalucía a new system for reservations on line. Golfspain.com has been operating on line since 2000 in Spain. Over 235 Spanish golf courses have the management system of Golfspain and 70 rounds of 18 holes are connected on line for direct reservations through the golf web or other channels such as golf sites, touroperators, agencies and hotels.
Students CIO Mijas in Los Arqueros
Los Arqueros is a benchmark in terms of management concerns, why students recently the Andalusian Center of Integral formation of the Leisure Industry in Mijas, better known by the CIOMIJAS chose Los Arqueros to help students get hands-on the caddy club maters and the secretariat, notions of how to manage golf reservations about the program and all internal management, using the software tool courses.
